Internet cut-off
My internet connection has been cut off without warning the last few weeks, so during those days I was forced to travel and find internet cafe's & wifi hotspots.
The search has been difficult and expensive ... I realized that 'free' wifi hotspots were very slow due to the many people connecting and viewing youtube videos. The best ones are the paid ones as I found out - they are in korean internet cafe's, 60 pesos an hour ... quite worth it for the speed, comfort and ambience.
These korean cafe's seem to be built for gaming but the internet connection is super, they allowed me to connect via ethernet and everything went smooth. I love their chairs, it's really built for surfing and gaming... I wonder where they bought it from, it's one of the most comfortable computer chairs I've ever sat on. I asked one of the attendants where they got it from but they didn't know, these are probably korean made..?
Anyway, back to work, I'll be fully online by this week as globe is installing our new connection - hopefully things will work out, we are at the edge of the coverage area.
